The main mining export products of the Democratic Republic of Congo show a downward trend during this week from August 21 to 26, 2023, inform the projections of the National Mercurial Commission).
While all other DRC export products are down this week on the international market, only cobalt keeps its stable trend at 32,730 USD per ton.
Copper fell this week to 8,232 USD per tonne against 8,417 USD per tonne last week, resulting in a negative price difference of 184 USD.
Zinc is also down to 2,368 USD per tonne against 2,447 USD per tonne the previous week, a drop of 109 USD.
Tin is also down this week at 26,237 USD per ton against 27,720 USD per ton last week, a drop of 1,483 USD.
Gold also fell this week to 61.77 USD per gram against 62.64 USD per gram last week, showing a drop of 0.87 USD.
Silver ore is also trending lower this week at $0.74 per gram from $0.77 per gram, down $0.03.
The price of tantalum also fell this week to 311 USD per Kg against 317 USD per Kg last week, i.e. a negative price difference of 6 USD.
